Will it be possible to have controller plugged in headphones work while still using Titan1? Just received my Xbox Elite Controller and saw that it came with an optional usb cable and specifically stated controller data uses USB cable.

Currently, the Titan 1 does not support audio pass through. Therefore, you cannot connect a headset to the Xb1 or PS4 controller. An add-on device is being developed that will provide the capability. You can read about in the below topic.

Sweet thanks!!! How much for an engineering sample??? I have my wallet open ;-) I'm ready to throw some serious $$ at ya. If low 3 digit figures are not serious to you then nevermind I'll have to wait until production release.

That is up to J2kbr (designer, developer of the Titan 1 and add on device). If you read through the thread that I linked, the biggest hold up is ensuring that others (i.e. device) cannot clone it.

Yes I read all of it. Hopefully it will be released before it becomes a moot point. There is a cost associated with releasing it and it being copied and their is also a cost associated with delaying its release. The legal action is great, keep it up, but this thing has a release window just like any other tech. Not even Apple can stop all the cloning. It would be nice if it was released sometime soon, but I can wait I mean it's just for gaming after all. It's not like we're talking about some cure for hiv here.

I found out more info - I wouldn't release it either. I'm already using the SPDIF output of my xbox1 to my sound bar. I'm just going to buy a SPDIF splitter (to keep my sound bar going) and other end I'll buy a Digital to Analog converter (3.5mm headphone jack out). Then plug in my headphones into that and use the kinect to chat -and BOOM I'm good as gold! I can mute and or turn off sound bar as to not wake the kids - and well I'm pretty close to the TV anyway where the kinect is.
