USB Splitter/Switch for Streamlining Authentication?

I recently bought a Titan One to use in conjunction with a XIM4 on Xbox One and as far as I'm aware I have to re-authenticate the Titan One every time I turn on the console and every time I program it with game packs. This means physically unplugging the XIM from the Titan One, plugging the Xbox One controller into the Titan One, unplugging it, and then plugging the XIM back in.
Since this is a process I have to repeat often, I'm wondering if there is a way to integrate the authentication process into my setup by, say, plugging some kind of USB switch into the Titan's input port. Then I could just press a button on the USB switch to toggle back and forth between the authenticating controller and the XIM whenever I need to authenticate. I am currently searching for a USB switch that toggles between two inputs, and was wondering if anyone had success in finding such a device--as most USB switches toggle between two outputs. Would such a device work for this purpose? Is there another way to circumvent the physical plugging-in and unplugging of devices from the Titan One during authentication?
