Latest FW Update broke my Titan One?

Postby seyko » Fri Dec 11, 2015 8:42 pm

Hi,

I was prompted to Update the Firmware of my Titan One by Gtuner, that was what I did and now my Titan One is broken..

It wrote the update onto the stick but it said error verifying or something like that and then the stick rebooted and now I just get a P or an E with 2 Dots on the devices screen and Gtuner does not recognize the stick at all anymore... tried several different usb cables and port, same issue..

what to do?

Please try re-flash the firmware using the recovery mode, as explained here:

http://www.consoletuner.com/kbase/firmw ... y_mode.htm

It may be necessary double press the reset button to enter in the programming mode (P).

If still does not work, please try again but using another USB cable.

I'm having the same problem... Updated to new 3.40 and had to upgrade my firmware to have it work... Been resetting and trying again and again still nothing get "PU" then eventually to a E. When saying what firmware I have it says "unknown"

After trying over and over again about 20-30 times it finally worked.. Just had to keep doing it over and over again lol took me around 45 minutes

Can you put your device in programming mode? showing letter P on the display.

After I updated my software it is now stuck on the loading circular animation. Tried redoing the firmware but it didn't work.

The up-and-down animation is normal and means the device is waiting the controller and console (or Gtuner) be connected. A circling animation, however, is not normal and can mean your device was not properly programmed at the factory.
