Xbox 360 headset on Xbox one?

Hi, I'm a competitive halo 2/3 player looking to buy the titan one to use a 360 wired controller on xbone when MCC releases. Not sure why everyone does the opposite considering the bumpers suck on the Xbox one controller.

Anyway, will my headset/astro mixamp combo and chat work on Xbox one while using a 360 controller? If not, will there be a firmware update in the future?

Also, is the titan one completely 100% lag free?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Mike.

Unfortunately no, Titan One does not handle the audio data. We are currently researching some solutions for this. But, at this point, I can't promise you that we will make audio pass-trough on Titan One, there is some hardware design limitations that need be overcome.

Sure, here I can 120% guarantee you. Not lag at all.

As others have posted this is how I get audio to work:
1) plug xbox one controller in back of console with headset connected
2) sign-in with headset controller
3) plug titan one in and authenticate with another xbox one controller
4) plug in xbox 360 controller to titan one, you should be able to navigate with both controllers
5) sign-in with 360 controller and you should be all set.

I haven't had any issues with this setup

Awesome thanks guys.

@shabbis...you can sign into the same account on 2 controllers plugged in???

@2k...as far as gamepacks go, do I need to wait until the MCC releases to get the game pack or can I install it when its released? If i can install later, Is it easy to do ??? Thanks.

I'll need the game to make the Gamepack, but it will be top priority as soon it releases! :joia:

Yeah I guess so, it prob automatically signs you out of the other.
I've followed this method and my astro a50s get both voice and game audio no problem.
