bluetooth usb dongle
Just received my package yesterday and I am trying to pair up the Bluetooth USB Dongle so I can play wirelessly. When I go through the Pairing Wizard, I can't seem to get past Step 1.
I get the following error.
Bluetooth USB Dongle was not found.
Make sure you have connected a compatible Bluetooth USB Dongle to your Device.
I purchased this:

Along with the:
Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter Dongle [+$9.99]

Re: bluetooth usb dongle
You need to connect to the Titan 1 to computer via the PC PROG port on the side and ensure the device settings are setup properly first.

http://www.consoletuner.com/kbase/device_options.htm
1. Connect Titan 1 to computer via PC PROG port and configure the device settings. Ensure output protocol is PS3 or AUTOMATIC and DS3 automatic pairing is selected.
2. Connect controller to PS3 via cable (without Titan 1) to ensure synced properly DS3 and PS3
3. Connect Titan 1 to PS3 USB
4. Connect DS3 to Titan 1 with cable. Titan 1 should flash from AU to 0. 0 means it is authenticated.
NOTE: At this point, you should be able to use the DS3 normally
5. Disconnect DS3 from Titan 1 and install bluetooth adapter on Titan 1
6. Press the PS button on the DS3 to start the pairing process
7. Titan 1 display should change from AU to 0 once authenticated
NOTE: You should now be able to use the Titan 1

Re: bluetooth usb dongle
Thanks for these steps.
Unfortunately, after following these steps, I am still unable to play wirelessly. Seem to be stuck, going from step 6 to step 7. The TitanOne never goes to 0. It just keeps flashing.
I have tried with the controller on and off at different times. I don't know if that makes a difference. Tried a bunch of different variations but it still doesn't seem to work. What I mean by on or off, ie. in step 2, the controller is off but I plugged it into the PS3 (so it's like charging even though the controller is 'off')
In step 4, it doesnt seem to matter if the controller is on or off, I get the 0 on the Titan One regardless.
After this, I unplug the controller from the TitanOne and plug in the Bluetooth adapter. I press the PS button on the controller and it just keeps flashing. It never turns to 0.
I thought it would be an easy process after your detailed steps... but unfortunately, I am still unable to get it working.

Are you sure your PS3 controller is Sony original? It is know that the Chinese PS3 controllers does not work with the Titan One wirelessly.

Re: bluetooth usb dongle
Using the PS3 controller on PS3 should be a straight forward procedure, as the PS3 does not have any authentication schema.
Based in your first post, it seems the Titan One is not being able to detect your Bluetooth dongle. If the dongle is defective, that explains why you are not being able to use your PS3 controller wirelessly.
To test, you can just connect the Bluetooth dongle directly on PC and verify if it is recognized.

Re: bluetooth usb dongle
I just connected the Bluetooth dongle directly to my PC and nothing happens. I don't even hear the sound it makes when I connect the TitanOne to the PC or any USB harddrive.
Thanks for your help. I will contact extrememods and hopefully, we can get this sorted out.
