What am I doing wrong?

Postby smokeandlights » Wed Mar 09, 2016 12:36 pm

Just got my Titan One yesterday. I managed to program a few game packs onto it, and then took it to my xbox one. I've been trying to get it into menu/configuration mode, but the button combos (start+view or start+A) aren't doing anything that I can tell. There is no change on the T1 display. In SWBF I do have rapid fire, but I want to tweak some of the other settings. I haven't had a chance to try the MKX game pack, but that's next on my list.

There are two ways to configure the gamepack. The first is using Gtuner and configuring the gamepack options as part of the programming steps. The first is the easiest and recommended way. The second is to configure the gamepack while in the game. For the second option this is done via controller lights (there are not any on screen menus),

Each gamepack has it own set of instructions. You can find the individual gamepack documentation in the link below.

Controller lights? On XBox One? There's just the one.

In the second video, Mr English says that he's having the same troubles. Around 14:25.

Just configure it with Gtuner.

My problem seems to be linked to the SWBF gamepack. I can get into configuration in the MKX gamepack, but not Star Wars.

The only configuration I can find in gtuner is for rapid fire/ advanced rapid fire. I haven't seen anything to set the mods and states in gtuner.

To self:
"Oh, scroll down, Idiot!"

In my defense, I have been trying this while caring for a fussy 6 month old.

Still, i think there's a problem with the gamepack. I can't get it to do anything from the controller.

this specific Gamepack (Star Wars Battlefront) does not have the controller "menu system" for configuration.

As pointed by UK_Wildcats_Fans you should use Gtuner to configure this gamepack.

Connect the device in your PC with the provided mini-USB cable, then open Gtuner PRO, click on the Programmer TAB (bottom tabs) and drag-and-drop the Gamepack into any memory slot and follow the step-by-step below:

1) click on the memory slot number.
2) A window with the gamepack configuration will open.
3) Enable the MODs you want.
4) Yet on this window, select the option: "Include configuration on programming device", as illustrated here:

http://www.consoletuner.com/kbase/gamep ... ration.htm

5) Close the configuration window.
6) IMPORTANT: Commit the changes on the device by clicking on the button "Program Device".

7) Plug the device on the console.
8) Press the device button until the display shows the same memory slot number you programmed the Gamepack.

9) You should be ready to go!
