Titan one + xim apex at 500/1000?

Postby g7mk » Sun Mar 18, 2018 10:36 am

I see that the Titan two now support the 500/1000 xim apex setup. Just wondering if there is any updates on Titan one supporting xim apex at 500/1000 ?

It's being worked on. In the meantime, 125 and 250Hz Apex polling works fine on the T1.

Yes, i'm well aware of the support for 125/250  i wasn't sure if there was any post for this if or when supported so i thought i would just check. It's division and as you know with how that game is 1000 and a lil recoil help is a must so i admit to being a little impatient :innocent_smile_1: oh and thankyou for the update !!!

Bump, do we know if Titan One works with the APEX at 1000hz now?

No firmware updates recently, so it has happened yet.

250Hz polling works and is practically indistinguishable from 1000Hz. It's the step up from 125Hz to 250Hz that made all the difference on PS4 as the Apex can now poll at the native console rate.

I would love for this to be added! I tested 250hz, 500hz, and 1000hz on Nintendo Switch (skyrim & splatoon 2).

500hz worked the best but the Apex displayed flashing lights indicating sync issues.

Any chance this could be added in a new firmware for the Titan One? I find the Titan One in TE mode outperforms the Titan Two in gameplay smoothness

Would love to have perfect sync!

The Titan Two runs at least once every 1ms and when a new data packet is received from any connected controller, the Titan Two processes it immediately resulting on response time in the order of micro-seconds (usually between 50 to 250 us). This level of performance is not possible with the Titan One, even in TE mode.

Could micro USB cable quality affect performance? Or I may have a faulty Titan Two... my Titan One in TE mode in my testing does not add some sort of "smoothing" that my Titan Two adds to my mouse movements. I'm using it with external power and no SD card.

Have you come across this problem in testing? Would love to get the full benefits of the T2

Please let me know if you are connecting the KM on the Titan Two or on the XIM Apex. Thanks.

I am connecting the KB to the Apex. I swapped micro USB cables, and experimented with Titan Two settings again and got a better result this time. I have the Apex in 1000hz mode and the Output Polling Rate on the Titan Two now set to default. I still feel some smoothing but it indeed feels faster than the Titan One now. It was nearly unplayable with my old XIM4
