Basic 101 question on Xbox1

I am only looking to use a keyboard/mouse on my xbox (fortnite) and found the titan1 and cronos (not sure if that a profanity here). But the reviews are pretty split and the titan was in stock.

So I got the titan1, and all I want to do is use a USB kayboard and mouse to start (no programming, scripts, etc.) and figured I would just plugin and getting an 'e'.

I started reading and before I really dive in, I need to just ask, is it really that much work or can I just plugin the titan the Xbox, plug-in a USB hub which has the keyboard/mouse and be done?

A computer is required for Mouse and keyboard support. You have to connect the Titan One to your console, and connect a USB cable from your computer to the Titan Ones Prog port.

In Gtuner open up Max-Aim, this is the plugin that will allow you to use your Mouse and keyboard.

Also worth to mention. That the Titan Two allows you to connect a mouse and keyboard directly to the device. No PC required.
