help me, please

I bought this about 2 days ago and I'm already frustrated. I'm trying to setup MaxAimDI for keyboard/mouse play, but whenever I start the capture for the keyboard/mouse, nothing happens when I press anything or when I move my mouse. I checked the output protocol, and set it to Xbox 360, but it didn't solve anything. I had the Titan One plugged in to the Xbox through the output, my laptop connected to it through the PCPROG, and the Xbox controller(wireless) connected to the input with a charge and play kit. I've looked at every YouTube video and tutorial, but nothing has helped me. The LED is flashing a green E, and I have no idea what it means or how to fix it. Somebody please help me with my problem

Yes you have to authenticate the Titan with a wired controller, the charge and play kit doesn't transmit data and is for charging only.
