Controller Losing Connection w/ keyboard/mouse

Postby Contract Killer » Mon Sep 15, 2014 10:40 am

Hey so I have a quick trouble shooting question. Lately when I've been playing destiny with my Titan One set up for keyboard and mouse sometimes the game will say the controller has lost connection. After this happens I pretty much have to get up unplug the titan one completely from my pc and then plug it back in authenticate the controller and finally plug it back into the xb1 followed by launching the max aim di plug in.

I'm really not sure what's causing it to do this, but it seems random. I've had times where 3hrs straight it doesn't happen and others it's within an hour of playing. Here's my current set up:
Titan One
Max Aim DI (keyboard/mouse -> xb1)
laptop
xb1

It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the laptop because I have kept playing even after the laptop locked. I might need to check the sleep settings which could have something to do with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
CK

Hello,

Do you have the "speedup settings" enabled? if yes please disable them all to test -- mainly the "inframe in" and "inframe out", those can cause the disconnection you described. Please let me know the results.

Heres an image support j2k posted on another thread it should be in gtuner options.

When you open up gtuner click on tools -> options -> Device and it should be under configurations.

Thanks HardcoreGamer. So I just checked them and they were already disabled. I'm going to try what's posted in the picture above everything on except the "inframe in" and see if that helps at all.

If the above settings helps you, Its good. But, the above settings never helped so I use my own settings. If you get problems even after the above settings then try mine.

Tick 1st three i.e: Inframe Out(ticked) Inframe In(Ticked) 1ms Response(Ticked) DS4 BT Boost(UNTICKED)

These settings works best for me so if it helps you too surely tell us :)
Have Fun.

I posted about this same problem a few days ago on the XB1. After a couple of hours the controller would disconnect, consistently.
I can confirm that, after leaving the Titan One on and plugged in for 2 straight days, the problem is gone. All I did was enable the first 3 speedup settings, and disconnect my controller after authorizing.
