Wireless Support for Xbox One Controllers

Postby J2Kbr » Mon Jul 31, 2017 1:45 am

All Xbox One controllers (Original, C, Elite and S) can now be used wirelessly with the Titan Two via the Xbox Wireless Adapter.

How to use your Xbox One controller wirelessly with the Titan Two.

Requirements:
  • Xbox Wireless Adapter
  • Micro-SD Card.The Xbox Wireless Adapter needs to be loaded and initialized with its firmware every time it is plugged. The firmware (xboxacc.fw) is stored in the Micro-SD card.

Steps:
  1. Update both Gtuner IV and the Titan Two firmware;
  2. Insert the Micro-SD card to the Titan Two;
  3. Connect the Titan Two to PC and open Gtuner IV;
  4. Go to the "Device Configuration" pane;
  5. Click on "Configure" button at the "Micro-SD Card" sub-section;
  6. The Output Panel will show two files being copied, one is the Xbox Wireless Adapter firmware (xboxacc.fw);
  7. Plug the Xbox Wireless Adapter to Input-A or Input-B on the Titan Two;
  8. The status LED will lights ORANGE, meaning the Adapter is being initialized;
  9. After 4 to 5 seconds the status LED will lights GREEN, meaning the Adapter was successfully initialized;
  10. Sync your Xbox controller with the Titan Two. Method (1) just connect the controller with the USB cable to the Titan Two, the controller is now ready to connect wirelessly with the Titan Two. Method (2) press the button on the Xbox Wireless Adapter, press the Xbox button on the controller and then the sync button. After few seconds the controller should synced with the Titan Two and working.

The Xbox Wireless Adapter can be used to authenticate the Titan Two with the Xbox One console. :smile0517:

All controller features are working :joia:, with exception of headsets. I believe it will be possible to support controller headsets -via Xbox Wireless Adapter- in an future Titan Two update. :wink:

My wife's been waiting for this! Er, well I have but she's going to be happy. No more having to worry about the kids tripping over the wire laying across the living room. LOL Picking up an adapter tonight!

thank you guys!!

Btw. I forgot to mention the Xbox Wireless Adapter is a high-speed USB device and, with the Titan Two, it works at 480Mbps. :joia:

The Xbox Wireless Adapter can be used to authenticate the Titan Two with the Xbox One console.

Just by plugging it in? Or do you need to pair it with a controller first, kind of like T1 when using it with a BT adapter?
Setup: XIM Apex, T2, K780 keyboard, G Pro Wireless mouse, SteelSeries 4HD pad, DXRacer armrest, LucidSound LS30 headset, Netduma router, Ubiquiti UniFi AP LR

For the authentication, a Xbox One Controller needs to be active (connected wirelessly with the Titan Two). You brought a good point, my original statement is ambiguous on this matter, hopefully it all clear now. :)

Do I need to plug the Elite controller into the T2 at the beginning every time? Or can I just leave the T2 and wireless adapter plugged onto my Xbox at all times and just keep my controller wirelessly connected to the adapter?
