Code formatting

Postby lavarsicious » Wed Apr 17, 2019 3:39 pm

Is there a way to automatically format code in the GPC script editor?

If the answer is no I'm considering throwing together some external workaround to do this.

What do you consider to be automatic code formatting?

Nothing fancy, just a simple way to reformat the white space, braces etc. I often find that after I'm done hacking together a new function or combo (especially after pasting code) I spend more than a small amount of time realigning leading white space.

For example, Visual Studio has a basic Format Document (or selection) implementation via CTRL-K, CTRL-D.

Gtuner IV currently does not have such functionally. We can be working to implement. If possible for you, please add your request to the Gtuner IV GitHub:

Thank you.
