[Question] Connecting Keyboard and Mouse to T2 - PS4-Solved
That's it, I have always played FPS games on PC, and after 8 years of no gaming, last year I decided to start again but this time on a PS4 pro. I am just pathetic, it's not fun, super frustrating at times. I admire those who are good with controllers, I am definitely not.
I have decided to use KB and mouse on my T2 but I would like to check here with the community exactly what I need to make this happen.
The best thread I found so far with instructions is this one: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=12411&p=83735&hilit=keyboard+and+mouse+titan+two+ps4#p83735
Some questions:
Does it matter which mouse or keyboard I will use?
Do I need this OTG cable?
On which ports do all the cables go on the T2?
As always, thank you all for your help.

No, It shouldn't matter, although if your keyboard has RGB lighting you may need to disable it to prevent power issues.
If you have a PC close by you can use KMG capture in Gtuner for the mouse/kb. That would go controller input A, Output PS4, Prog to PC and then hit F4 in Gtuner and click capture.
If you don't, then yes you'll need an OTG cable.
Mouse into input A
Controller into input B
Keyboard into prog with OTG

Thank you, Mad for the prompt reply.
Would that be the case even with a power cable connected to the T2?

If you have a power adaptor should be no problem
Also if you go the KMG capture route the PC will be the power source so no need for an adaptor.

Thanks once again. I would initially be using it without a PC, later on, perhaps.
Another question, I currently use my T2 in full-passthru so that I can connect my headset to the DS4 controller.
Will I still be able to use the headset?

As far as I know the "full-passthru" depends on the controller, the connection and the console used.
For a ps4 console it requires a ds4v2 controller connected via usb to the T2 and the T2 via usb to the console.
I don't know if all ports T2 usb-ports support the full-passthru mode or only Input-A and Input-B do this.
I think this should work:
Mouse to input-A, your current controller (with headset) to Input-B and the keyboard via OTG to prog.
But wait for someone who does this, can test this or knows this for sure. This is just me guessing how it works
The ds4v2 are the ones with the lightbar visible through the touchpad, they are the only sony ds4 type that supports sound via usb. I don't know about other officially licensed ps4 controller brands and their usb audio support by the T2.

thank you Scachi.
It seems I have a problem now - I'm just unboxing the keyboard I ordered - LOGITECH G G513 Carbon Tactile - and it has 2 USB cables :(
Does anyone know if I can use it with some adaptor? Worst case scenario, I'll have to return it.

Actually, I think it is fine. I checked the back of the USB cables and one seems to be for the keyboard functions while the other seems to be like an usb extension because the keyboard has an USB port on itself. Puff

Yeah, I think you are right.
From the manual it looks like the second connections is for paththru, like connecting the mouse to the keyboard or something like this. It may work fine with only a single connection used.

Yes, I think so, too!
Thank you Mad and Scachi for your help so far.
Now, just waiting for the monitor and the desk table to arrive. :D
