Possible to use the Wii Remote without a sensor bar?
Hi guys just want to confirm - I don't need a sensor bar if I'm not using the IR functions right? I'm thinking of using the Wii remote just to navigate menus and stuff. Since it's so compact and like a tv remote I figure it would make a great complementary device like that.
Setup: XIM Apex, T2, K780 keyboard, G Pro Wireless mouse, SteelSeries 4HD pad, DXRacer armrest, LucidSound LS30 headset, Netduma router, Ubiquiti UniFi AP LR

The sensorbar is only needed for the IRX and IRY. So if you do not need the pointing functionality you do not need a sensorbar.
