Re: [UPDATE Feb-18] Gtuner IV 1.07 BETA-10 (Computer Vision)

This is expected, the dialog window is to select the Python installation folder and will not show files.
The folder path is something like:
C:\Program Files\Python\Python38
or
C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38
Ok, got the first one working but how can i install OpenCV Python Module?

Applications such as chrome, edge, firefox normally have bunch of hidden windows (technically named cloaked window). This is done to optimize speed when opening new tabs.
On Gtuner IV "Detect Windows" dialog we are using the OS API function "DwmGetWindowAttribute" to filter such windows. However, on Python side this function is not available. Therefore, if the filter you set for the window title match a cloaked window the result will be a blank screen.
You can try make the matching string for the window title more specific to avoid that.

So basicly what youre saying is that we dont have control over that? Not really sure what you mean by "matching strings"

Before the public release, I will try find a way to avoid cloaked windows on Python side.
Just to be sure you can at least capture one window, please try with Gtuner. Add a new video input (+), select Window Capture, then "Detect Windows" - > "Gtuner IV 1.7 Beta". After that, edit the Video Input Configuration to:
Gtuner*
Click Add and start the the computer vision processing (the green play icon at CV toolbar).
Please let me know if you successful captured the Gtuner's window, something like this:

Yeah that works with Gtuner* and the original name from the window.
But the Xbox Console Companion App is black. Xbox* or full name doesnt matter

J2Kbr wrote:The Apex Legeds GCV script I published, at first moment, is to serve as example. It is not working for you because the colors of your capture card seems too much saturated and/or with high contrast. Take a look in the image file downloaded with the script (apex_legends.png), these are the templates used to detect weapon, attachment, etc. If the color does not match, the detection will fail. Down-the-road I will be improving this GCV script to be more robust against differences in lighting and color saturation.
alright damn that sucks.. guess ill just wait

Is it possible to pass values the other way around ? From .gpc script to python .py to control something in the python script dynamically via my controller/keyboard input ? Something like "gcv_write" ?
