Gtuner with Mac (my setup)
Posted: Thu Aug 04, 2016 5:57 am
hey guys,
just thought I would make a quick post to anyone who owns a Macbook and would like to use it with Gtuner.
There may be other posts out there as well but this is my setup and hopefully can help others.
Basically all you need is a Virtual machine, which is an application that emulates another operating system that may or may not be native to your computer. For example, running Windows 10 on a Macbook Pro etc.
You will need two programs to begin:
a Virtual machine,
Windows 10.iso
The virtual machine i use is VMware Fusion and is available to buy from here
http://store.vmware.com/store/vmwaus/en ... oCvZ7w_wcB
I would definitely not condone downloading this for free from Piratebay if did not wish to purchase this:
(google Piratebay)
Windows 10 is available from here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/softwar ... ndows10ISO
Just select the right version. I use '10'
During installation, it will ask you to select installation method, where you will select 'install from image or disc' then navigate to where you downloaded the windows 10.iso file. and follow instructions.
From here you are able to use the Macbook as a normal Windows 10 computer and download Gtuner.
Also, make sure to download the anti-virus protection that pops up so that you have a basic level protection.
Here's a video to help you out through the steps.
