PROJECT SCARLETT (Xbox)
Microsoft has confirmed that all current Xbox One controllers will be compatible with the next Xbox console:

Therefore, is expected both the Titan Two and the Titan One to work on the next Xbox without even requiring a firmware update. :smile0517:

PLAYSTATION 5

  1. According to Sony's lead console architect Mark Cerny, the PS5 will be backward compatible with PS4 games.
  2. The new PlayStation 5 controller (DualShock 5) will NOT have lightbar.
It is relatively safe to assume the PS5 will be compatible with PS4 controllers, as several PS4 games (specially VR) requires the lightbar to work. I would guess the controller's protocol (including the authentication procedures) will be carried over the PS5. The current PlayStation controller's protocol is flexible and could easily accept new features, such as haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and built-in microphones.
