Re: New Elite Series 2 controller FW Update Problem
I had the same problem with a new XBOX Elite Series 2 controller. When I plugged it into the XBOX it updated the firmware to the latest version. The controller would only stay connected to the wireless adapter for about 5 seconds before losing sync. I reverted the firmware on the controller using the instructions in the link below and it's working great now.

Follow these instructions on your XBOX console. I did this on the XBOX Series X console with the controller wired into the Titan 2 Port B.
Step 1: Go to Xbox assist (Will be in apps tab)
Step 2: Go to "Get Help" Tab and open Console & accessories
Step 3: Open Controller folder
Step 4: Open "My controller has connection issues after the..." folder
Step 5: Press the "Check controller firmware" AFTER THIS XBOX ACCESSORIES APP WILL OPEN AND GIVE YOU REVERT FIRMWARE OPTION"
Step 6: CONNECT YOUR CONTROLLER TO XBOX CONSOLE VIA USB THEN PRESS "REVERT FIRMWARE" OPTION

I thought I saw someone mention they had a firmware update on Discord so assumed it was released but doesn't look like it or maybe got rolled back.
Not sure when J2K is planning to release it, it has the fix for the elite paddles and may or may not fix your disconnection issues will have to wait and see.
