Titan two extremely hot. (not warm)
Titan two is getting so hot that it can burn my hand when i touch it. I have the recommended power supply, however power supply or not, the T2 gets extremely hot. I have a Xim Apex, Air58 , Logitech Mechanical Board, PS4 DS2. T2 is starting to fail auth and will disconnect randomly. Tested with different usb cords and still same problems. Adapter Power supply set to 7.5V

Is it enclosed in a tight space or in a hot room?
Are you running a script when this happens, something eating at the CPU could potentially get it warm.

Regarding the heat, This is normal when using a power supply.
Also are you running any scripts when the disconnection happens?, also does the T2 remain on when the controller disconnects? or is the T2 resting (causing the controller to disconnect)?
Remove the apex from the setup, leave just the ds4 connected to the t2 and see if the issue persist.I have a Xim Apex, Air58 , Logitech Mechanical Board, PS4 DS2. T2 is starting to fail auth and will disconnect randomly.

Disregard the xim for the time being, Just connect the ds4 to the t2,SweatyPapi wrote:it happens regardless. the Xim is working fine without it.
Once the ds4 is authenticated, set it aside make sure not to move it or the t2, and make sure no scripts are running. The t2 should display 0.
See if the disconnections persist, if it does, note the time it took to disconnect.(ie 3 minutes after you set the controller aside)

Re: Titan two extremely hot. (not warm)
The latest update shouldn't have any effect on power consumption of the device.
1. Does the device gets hot without the external power supply (only PROG or OUTPUT connection)?
2. Does the device gets hot with the external power supply but without any other connection (console, controller, XIM, etc)?

Re: Titan two extremely hot. (not warm)
I figured it out. it was the Cable I was using. The T2 prefers the cables it comes with to transfer power (Not sure of the difference in Micro USB). I swapped the cable from the Input device and the program and it is functioning a little warm.

I highly reccomend the titan connection kit, the cables are some of the highest quality you can get. You won't run into any troubles with them
