Newer Titan Two - MicroUSB ports farther back in case

Postby Mako » Thu Aug 08, 2019 6:38 pm

I just ordered another Titan Two. Giving my original one to a friend. I noticed that the newer model, while it looks a little nicer, the MicroUSB ports are tucked about twice as far back into the plastic case as the original. This makes it very fussy with some cables not seating all the way and causing connectivity issues.

I think this is a pretty poor design overall, but for those that are having issues with intermittent connectivity, try to find a MicroUSB with a longer metal male insert. It could solve your problems.

I still have the old shell, But I have not heard of anyone having troubles with the new one at all.

I personally prefer to use cables from the connection kit.

Can you maybe provide a close up picture of the MicroUSB ports?

Those Connection Kit cables ARE REALLY GOOD.

They hold up better than any other Micro-USB cables available.

The different connections are worth having, as well.
