Don't quote me on all of this though, as I just briefly remember reading that thread.

I'm sure you can send a PM to J2Kbr and get some confirmation or clarification, on this matter, though.

I wasn't able to find the thread and never got confirmation from J2Kbr, but figured I'd give the PS a try. Had it on since Friday and haven't had a drop since. After the recent fw it was happening constantly, so I'm pretty sure that was it, but will update here if anything changes. Thanks for the suggestion!

EDIT: It started happening again, so the power supply was NOT the solution. The timing of the recurrence tipped me off to the actual problem, however. I noted that my router had updated around the same time and noticed that it had reset my 5GHz WiFi control channel to automatic. Unfortunately, the one it kept selecting interfered with the Xbox wireless adapter. Manually selecting a different one resolved the issue. I also looked back at the release dates for previous router fw updates and one coincided with the initial appearance of this issue.

Update:

I purchased the connection kit from Amazon. I followed the instructions and was able to pair my Xbox controller via Bluetooth. However, as soon as I unplug my Titan Two from the pc, it's almost like the kit "forgets" my controller and won't connect again. It's the same thing the Xbox Wireless adapter would do.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks.

After unplug from PC, are you using the Titan Two with the Xbox One console? If yes, please note that is not possible authenticate the Titan Two with XB1 console if the controller is connected via Bluetooth (only wired or with the wireless adapter).

Using new Xbox Wireless controller with Bluetooth, and the original Xbox One Wireless adapter. I can't get it to connect to the adapter while connected to the T2. I can connect it to my PC with the adapter and it works perfectly. I see that it will not authenticate over Bluetooth, so how do we use a new Xbox One X controller with T2, besides wired?

I have older wireless controllers that work with the adapter, but just wondering what is going on.

When I try to sync the controller, while the adapter is connected to the T2, the controller sync's, but the white light on the adapter does not light up, it goes dark. The controller works on an original Xbox, so, it has to be connecting to it without using Bluetooth.

Descriptors if needed.

By connecting the Xbox Wireless Adapter to the Titan Two, the status LED first lights orange and after few seconds it should turn green. Please confirm if this is the behavior you are getting with your Xbox Wireless Adapter. Thanks.

When I plug in the adapter the Input-A changes color slightly and then it goes green. I then plug in a brand new Xbox One X controller, and I press the sync buttons on the adapter and the controller. The Xbox One X controller stops blinking and goes solid, and the adapter stops blinking and goes dark.

If I do this exact procedure with an old Xbox One controller everything works just fine. The controller light goes solid and so does the adapter light. I can also plug the adapter into my PC, and it pairs just fine with the new Xbox One X controller.

Ok, I found a solution to this problem. When the adapter goes dark and the controller light goes solid, if I remove the battery from the controller and then put the battery back in the controller, and I press the Xbox button it will sync with the adapter and the light on the adapter will light up too.

Every time I remove the adapter from the T2 and plug it back it, the light is dark. I have to repeat the process of removing the controller battery and turning on the controller. This solves the problem every time.

On top of that, when I plug the battery in the A and U are flashing. I have to press the Xbox button, and then the A and U stop flashing and it pairs.

There also seems to be a time limit when the A and U are flashing. If I don't remove the battery and replace it, and then push the Xbox button in a timely manner, I have to reset the T2 by holding down the up and down buttons and do it again.

Thanks Maxxgold for providing detailed information of your tests and results.

Please let me know the model no of your new Xbox One controller, I will try perform similar tests if I can find same model.

The model number can be found in the battery housing. For example: Model 1708

Thanks.
